Choice of Point Source

This page details how to chose a source point in order to generate a ray.

The mesh of emissive surface is formed by some element (here triangle) based one reference element. All element is linked by reference element by a affine transformation.

We sampling reference element by \(N_S\) point.

To choose \(N_s\) source point in one element, we choose a point in set of image of point in reference element by affine transformation.

We must have \(N_S >> N_s\).
